Tomorrow, we officially welcome our first black president to office. Thoughts or feelings on how he will do?

Personally, I don't think it matters if you are black or white, purple or green, this economy is a fucking mess and I have no idea how anyone is going to be able to steer us out of this. I think he has a tough road ahead. I am very interested to see what he will do in response.

If anything, I hope he can somewhat mend the division in the country and get our spirit back alive.

I don't think either option we had would have made a difference. But, you know me, all I care about are people leaving my guns alone and not infringing on the personal rights of any individual.

I as well do not care what race our President is, but his track record looks sketchy in terms of his more leftist views when it comes to guns and the like. So long as he dosn't try to impose more crazy emissions laws to hinder an already faltering automotive economy, open our borders up to an extent that will compromise the nation's security, or make more crazy laws for firearms, I think we'll be ok.

I do not know enough honestly to make informed points as to his policies but I don't think he could do any worse then our out going president. I have high hopes for change.

That's almost exactly what I thought today too during the ceremony.... Didn't think of the James Dean comparo though...... haha,

I think Biden would be worse, so for the countries sake, I hope he avoids theaters and any grassy knolls....

He is going to close down GTMO, pass an assault weapons ban(this time a permanent one), raise taxes. He will give massive corporate welfare to companies who have discovered that they can be as irresponsible as they want as long as they lobby the candidate in the lead.

It is going to be a disaster for all gun owners. Look at the urban policy on the whitehouse website.

pete I think you are right on all of them except the corporations. I think he's gonna make them sumbitches responsible for all the people they've hurt. Then again you can just give him a year and he'll be just another washington scumbag taking bribes and screwing hookers for 4g's a night
